We’re a young start-up on a mission to get farmers the environmental data they need to make better decisions every day. We have been designing and building connected environmental sensors and decision support tools for agriculture since 2019.
Our highly accurate sensor data and forecasts enable growers of both broadacre and horticulture crops to make better decisions leading to more sustainable, profitable operations. We work with growers and partners around the world across a wide range of crops and environments.
Having developed a complete solution from hardware to cloud and controlling the whole product life cycle from design to manufacturing, deployment and support, we are a small team with a wide range of talents! We operate in a fast-moving environment, working on range of tasks and solving difficult problems collaboratively.

The Sales and Marketing manager will promote and sell Terraprima products both directly and via partners across the verticals in which we operate. You will ensure that channel partners, customers and prospects get the maximum benefit from Terraprima products by creating and sharing information about products we sell.
You will act as the ‘voice of the customer’ within our organisation, constantly communicating customer needs with the wider team to ensure that our products are highly effective.
You will act as first contact for technical information and training to your customers throughout (and after) the sales process. You will help develop resources which allow customers to help themselves, allowing them to overcome problems more quickly and reducing their reliance on you.
You’ll be joining a small team, giving you a fantastic opportunity to use your entrepreneurial skills to influence the direction of the company and take a leading role as we continue our growth journey.
We are looking for an experienced sales and marketing professional with a proven record in both direct sales and working with reseller channels. You are self motivated and you love setting and then achieving challenging targets.
A natural problem solver, you are comfortable generating leads through creative marketing activities on a limited budget. Strong written and verbal communication to both small groups and larger audiences is crucial; You will be responsible for producing and delivering content to raise the profile of Terraprima and our products, both directly and working with our channel partners.
You have a background in agriculture, with a strong existing network of growers and industry contacts, and a good understanding of farming practices and culture.
You’re passionate about technology and the ways it can help improve farming performance, and you enjoy bringing its benefits to life for others.
You like helping other people get to grips with technology, and people regularly ask you to help them out when learning new platforms. Your ability to understand user pain points and explain in layman’s terms how a technical product can help overcome farming challenges will be essential for your communications with both customers and the Terraprima product team.
Experience of working with environmental sensors or weather stations would be helpful, but is not essential.
You thrive working independently from home, but you are happy to travel frequently to meetings with customers and other team members. You hold a full UK driving licence.
